Payment Methods & Security

At Pups Bar, operated by AdZeal Commerce LLC, we aim to provide a secure and straightforward checkout experience.

Payments are processed through Shopify and independent payment providers.

We do not normally receive or store your complete credit-card or debit-card number.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method;

  • The billing information you provide is accurate;

  • Sufficient funds or credit are available;

  • The payment does not violate any applicable law or agreement.

Payment Security

Our store uses Shopify’s ecommerce infrastructure and trusted third-party payment providers to process transactions.

These providers use security controls such as:

  • Encrypted payment transmission

  • Fraud-monitoring systems

  • Payment authorization checks

  • PCI-compliant payment processing

  • Secure checkout technology

Although we and our providers use reasonable safeguards, no online transaction or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

Customers are responsible for keeping their devices, accounts, passwords, and payment credentials secure.

Payment Authorization

When you place an order, your payment provider may authorize or temporarily hold the purchase amount before the transaction is fully completed.

An authorization hold is not always the same as a completed charge.

If an order is cancelled or payment is unsuccessful, the time required to release a pending authorization depends on your bank or payment provider.

Pups Bar does not control how quickly banks remove pending holds.

Payment Verification

Some orders may require additional verification before fulfilment.

We may request further information when:

  • The billing and shipping details do not match;

  • The payment is flagged as high risk;

  • The transaction appears unusual;

  • The payment provider requests verification;

  • Fraud or unauthorized use is suspected.

We may delay, cancel, or refund an order if payment cannot be verified.

Declined or Failed Payments

A payment may be declined for reasons including:

  • Incorrect card or billing information;

  • Insufficient funds;

  • Expired payment details;

  • Bank security restrictions;

  • International transaction restrictions;

  • Fraud-prevention checks;

  • Unsupported currency or payment method;

  • Technical issues with the payment provider.

If your payment is declined, please:

  1. Confirm your payment and billing information;

  2. Contact your bank or payment provider;

  3. Try another available payment method;

  4. Contact us if the issue continues.

We cannot override a decision made by your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or another payment provider.

Currency Information

Product prices may be displayed in US Dollars or another supported local currency, depending on your location and the settings available through Shopify Markets.

The final currency and total amount charged will be shown during checkout before payment is completed.

Your bank or payment provider may apply:

  • Currency-conversion charges;

  • Foreign transaction fees;

  • International processing fees;

  • Exchange-rate differences.

These charges are controlled by your payment provider and are not collected by Pups Bar.

If your store only processes payments in US Dollars, replace the first paragraph in this section with:

“All orders are processed in US Dollars. Prices displayed in another currency may be estimates only, and the final amount may be converted by your bank or payment provider.”

Taxes and Additional Charges

Applicable taxes may be calculated and displayed during checkout based on factors such as:

  • Shipping destination;

  • Product type;

  • Local tax rules;

  • Store tax settings.

International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other government fees.

Unless checkout clearly states otherwise, these charges are not included in the product price and are the customer’s responsibility.

Discount Codes

Valid discount codes may be entered during checkout before the order is completed.

Discount conditions may vary by promotion.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • A discount code must be used before payment is completed;

  • Expired codes cannot be applied;

  • Discounts cannot be applied retroactively;

  • Some products may be excluded;

  • Minimum purchase requirements may apply;

  • Discounts may be limited by customer, order, region, or usage count;

  • Promotional codes have no cash value;

  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash.

Some Shopify discounts may be combined when the promotion settings allow it. Therefore, do not claim that only one discount can always be used unless your store is specifically configured that way.

If a discount code is not working, confirm:

  • The spelling of the code;

  • The expiration date;

  • The minimum order requirement;

  • Product eligibility;

  • Whether the code has already been used;

  • Whether the promotion is available in your region.

Pricing Errors

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate prices.

However, pricing, discount, currency, tax, or technical errors may occasionally occur.

Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to:

  • Correct an incorrect price;

  • Cancel an affected order;

  • Contact you for approval of the corrected amount;

  • Refund a payment if the order cannot be processed.

If an order is cancelled because of a pricing error, any collected payment will be refunded to the original payment method.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

The time required for a refund to appear depends on your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or payment provider.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Contact us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute.

We may be able to resolve issues involving:

  • Delivery;

  • Tracking;

  • Damaged products;

  • Incorrect items;

  • Refunds;

  • Duplicate charges;

  • Billing confusion.

Fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized chargeback activity may result in order cancellation, account restrictions, or the submission of relevant evidence to the payment provider.

Nothing in this section limits your lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect transaction.
